Availability

Tick the boxes below to indicate when you are free to attend an appointment (up to 45 minutes). Please note appointments may not be available this week so please ensure the availability you provide is your general/weekly availability.

*Please also note that you can drop-in and meet with a Disability & Inclusion Officer (Monday to Friday 9am-4pm) in the Health & Wellbeing Centre at 7 Bristo Square. No appointment is required, just drop in!

If you have more than 2 documents, please either

  • complete the DLSS Registration form instead, 
  • email your additional documents to disability.service@ed.ac.uk where one of our team will save them in your file, or
  • bring your document(s) into the Health & Wellbeing Centre at 7 Bristo Square (for us to scan).

Please be assured that your uploaded document(s) will be securely stored and only viewed by those DLSS staff who need to see it to process your request.

Appointment Format

We will aim to arrange an appointment via your preferred method.  We ask that you provide a second choice of method so that, if there are no available appointments in your preferred format, we can still arrange an appointment for you with a minimal waiting period.

What happens next?

  1. An email will be sent confirming your appointment request.
  2. A member of the team will review the information you have provided.
  3. The information will help us determine the most appropriate next step for you. This could be:
    • booking an appointment with one of our Advisors or Officers, or
    • emailing or calling you to find out some more information.
  4. A member of the team will be in touch as soon as we have reviewed your information.

NB: We aim to respond within 3 working days but during busy periods may take up to 5 working days.
